GrispLabs Website Redesign

Project Overview

GRISP Labs is an AI-focused startup that currently uses its website as the primary digital touchpoint for prospective customers, partners, and investors. I met with the founder of GRISP Labs to understand the current challenges with the company’s website and identify opportunities to improve user trust, engagement, and conversion. They expressed concern that visitors may perceive the website as AI-generated rather than representative of a credible technology company

Problem Statement:

Potential clients visiting GrispLabs struggle to quickly understand the company's services due to complex information architecture and unclear user pathways.

Existing Website Homepage

Existing Navigation was complex with unclear service categories so users struggled to understand the offerings.

Goals for Redesign

  • Improve Information Architecture: The homepage has a lot of information but not immediately obvious what Grisplabs does and who is the target customer.
  • Strengthen the goal of the company: AI first engineering company sounds a little vague.
  • Site Navigation: Create clearer navigation for different tabs
  • Increase lead generation: The site does not strongly guide users towards booking a demo and contacting sales.
  • Improve visual hierarchy: Users may need to scan multiple sections before finding key information.

Closed Card Sort

I created a Closed card sort to improve information architecture and content hierarchy of the website. The card sort was shared with users and stakeholders to organize item cards into predetermined categories.

REDESIGNED SITE MAP

The redesigned Site Map has simplified navigation with clear service hierarchy hence faster understanding of services for users.
